As we live in our little staycation condo {apartment} I get to dream about what I want when we build. I love Pinterest, going through model homes, and screen shooting pics from Instagram. Here are a few of my favorite home ideas and I’ll tell you why.
After much contemplation we have decided that we want a white kitchen. Isn’t this dreamy? I love the feeling that a white kitchen provides. It is so fresh, inviting, and happy! I also like this floor – not too dark. I think it would hide food crumbs (a must). I also want the subway tile for a back splash. It totally reminds me of our vacation to NYC last September. We heart NYC and would love to bring those memories into our home. Brushed silver is a must for knobs and fixtures. Timeless, for sure. I also love the paint colors. I am not one for gray paint. I need the warm colors for my sanity.
Isn’t the size of this island amazing? I want an island this size. I love that it is square with no rounded corners. Did you notice the pic above the hood? I want to do this ledge so I can decorate above the stove. Oh, and double ovens. Another must.

Love this big sink. I think we need this!
To some this doesn’t mean much but I want our garage finished, as well.
This will be the color of “one” of the walls in our girls’ “Jane and Jane” bathroom. This color is Buoyant Blue from Sherwin Williams.
This will be similar to their bathroom.
Again, the warm wall color with a little gray in the counter and white cupboards. We do want square sinks instead of round.
Look how fun these two ideas are for under the stairs.
I really LOVE this window {needs to be proportionate to the mirror} above the master sink. Brilliant. You can’t see in because it is too high but it lets in lots of light.
This is a little too modern for our home but I LOVE this fireplace.
Our stairway will be similar to this so we added a little ledge on the landing so I can decorate for each holiday.
We liked these little doors for our closet. They will be painted white!

This makes me so excited to start building. It is not happening until this coming spring time at the soonest, but for now
