This was by far the funnest room I have ever decorated. I love the colors. It makes me happy every time I walk by. But more importantly, my little girl LOVES it. She helped pick out the colors and decide where things would go.
Now let’s check out the rest of her room.
Welcome to Elli’s room!
It’s amazing what can be done when you add a little trim and left over material to embroidery hoops. What a difference it can make. I used hot glue to stick the fabric, yarn, and trim to each hoop. Then, I used needles to hang them. This made it so others couldn’t see how they were hung.
My little girl painted this pic at school. She is too cute. She painted it to match her room perfectly!
For her curtains we took a rod and strips of left over material and just tied them in a knot around the rod.
This sign is one thing I hope my daughters understand from a young age. I bought it at a boutique years ago.
This vanity was my grandma’s. She gave it to my mom who gave it to me. Now it is my little girl’s. It is a treasure and in such great shape. All I had to do was add the curtain around it.
I made her “E” the exact same way as I did in her last room. I photocopied her quilt so it would match perfect. In fact, this is the same “E.” I just Mod Podged over the top of the original covering.
We can’t get enough E’s! She added this little “e” to her door.
This is what she wakes up to each day. This little spot is extra special and means a lot to our family and to her. Every item is from her adoption.
Her headboard was thrifted. I spray painted it pink and love the pop of color. Her nightstand was given to us by a friend and I also gave it a good spray.
Hope you liked her room.
